In brief: the Geneva Hub's side event to the AI for Good Summit filled the SDG Solution Space at Campus Biotech. Young AI leaders, researchers, builders, and Geneva ecosystem players gathered for a high-level panel, From Users to Architects: A Co-authored Future with All Generations, followed by a participant-led unconference, Brain Snacks, and an afterparty. Co-organised with Geneva Macro Labs and the Geneva Network of Innovators (ge-ni), the Youth AI Governance Forum (YAIGF), the Learning Planet Institute, and Si Labs, with YAIL Hubs from Bogotá, Linz, Madrid, Mexico City, San Francisco, Viseu, and Zurich. En bref : le Geneva Hub a co-organisé cette journée nationale à Berne, où des jeunes de toute la Suisse ont transformé leurs idées en positions concrètes sur l'IA et les réseaux sociaux. Après des interventions d'expert·e·s et un panel le matin, les participant·e·s ont co-rédigé l'après-midi les Youth Messages — des positions portées directement au Swiss IGF principal. In brief: the Geneva Hub co-organised this national gathering in Bern, where young people from across Switzerland spent the day turning ideas into concrete positions on AI and social media. After morning expert inputs and a panel, participants co-drafted the Youth Messages — policy positions carried directly into the main Swiss IGF. These messages are available here.

En bref : salle comble — 60 participant·e·s, sept démonstrations. Deux membres du Hub, Sonya P. et Vestin Hategekimana, y ont présenté Luxpricer, un outil d'aide à la tarification destiné aux petites entreprises.

En bref : keynote et table ronde sur les interactions entre IA, énergie, matériaux et gouvernance, suivies d'un cocktail de réseautage. Première édition de la série de conférences IA et durabilité.

En bref : Atelier co-organisé avec l'International Peace Youth Group sur la manipulation de l'opinion publique par l'IA dans les contextes fragiles. Première partie : cadre conceptuel sur la désinformation assistée par IA, la fabrication de la méfiance et la difficulté de distinguer le réel du fabriqué. Seconde partie : simulation de crise évolutive sous contrainte de temps, où les participant·e·s ont dû juger quand utiliser — ou choisir de ne pas utiliser — des outils d'IA.

In brief: A workshop co-organised with the International Peace Youth Group on AI-driven manipulation of public opinion in fragile contexts. First half: a conceptual framework on AI-enabled disinformation, manufactured mistrust, and the difficulty of telling real from fabricated. Second half: a time-constrained, evolving crisis simulation in which participants had to judge when to use — or to deliberately not use — AI tools.
